Its constructed from a 50% recycled, PET felt backing which absorbs 65% of the
noise that hits it. Fixed to that, is FSC certified MDF slats, with a real oak veneer.
Its very easy to install - you’ll have your space looking beautiful in no time.

Sustainability
Recycled PET
The backing felt of Sonik Slatwall is made from minimum 50% recycled PET (essentially plastic drink bottles). The balance is made from recyclable polyester fibre.
Low VOC’s.
Sonik Slatwall are rated VOC Class A+, meaning they are safe & healthy to install in your home. VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) include a variety of chemicals that could be harmful to you. An A+ rating means that Sonik Slatwall panels meet all indoor air quality standards.

How does Sonik Slatwall work?
Sonik Slatwall is designed to absorb sound waves and reduce the level of noise or reverberation in a room.
They are ideal for spaces with excessive reverb/echo, or walls where too much sound is travelling through.

Sound Absorption.
Sonik Slatwall Panels are made from materials that absorb sound, rather than reflect it. The felt backing has an NRC 65 sound absorption rating.
Panel Design
The design of Sonik Slatwall Panels plays a crucial role in their effectiveness. The panels’ irregular surface breaks up the sound waves and stops them reflecting back.
Frequency
Sonik Slatwall Panels are designed to absorb sound most effectively between 150-600Hz. To put this into perspective, humans talking ranges from 120Hz (men) to 300Hz (children).
What does NRC 65 mean?
The terms “NRC” stands for Noise Reduction Coefficient. Its a measure of the effectiveness of a material to absorb sound.
Its expressed as a range between 0 and 1, 0 being the material absorbs no sound, and 1 absorbing all sound.
NRC 65 means that Sonik Slatwall absorbs 65% of the noise that strikes it.
